![]() ![]() You see, whoever wins the challenge gets an extra month's worth vacation! And who wouldn't kill for that?! Lu is "Newshound," a feisty feminist who believes women deserve 100% respect, and a guy that will actually listen. Lu is writing for the girl's side in the literacy challenge. Sparling notices that Lu is a fantastic writer and asks her to join the anonymous newspaper column. Boy entails the story of Luisa Perez, a nobody who intends to keep it that way. Review 2: It's the classic "battle of the sexes." Girl v. more I was kinda, sorta secretly rooting for Mac the whole time. But at the end I was kind of upset cause I somehow missed the part when Joey became Lu's boyfriend again plus. ![]() ![]() So now that I finished the book, I'm reprimanding myself for not seeing the obvious signs that showed Scoop was Joey. For example, when i found out he was scoop, i replayed the ice-skating scene in my head and how Luisa, (i'm still not entirely sure how to say her name), thought the girl that Tyler was with was the one Scoop was calling easy but it was HER! And also at the carnival she proved it by kissing Joey out of no where to rub it in Tyler's face. Review 1: I loved how the writer made you think it could have been either Mac or Tyler but then all of a sudden Joey is thrown into the mix and you start going over everything he said in the book and realize that it WAS him. ![]()
